Gears of war
Mint game, story and characters. Harsh Learning Curve, tedious on first play through, but is then addictive. Not as short as people say, but is pretty short, but there's always gears of war 2 when you finish. Trying to complete campaign on all difficulties is also rewarding.

I don't get it!
What's all the fuss about with this game? As far as I'm concerned it's tedious and repetitive. The environment is dull and there's little motivation generated to progess any further into it. You spend most of your time ducking in and out of cover. It's too easy to get killed and when there's a lot going on on screen hardly any way to distinguish between friend and foe. If shoot, shoot, shoot, take cover, shoot, take cover and then shoot and take cover some more (in a dull grey world) is your thing then you'll love this. Boring! Where's Bioshock 2?

Nice game !!!
Enjoyed the game, my 1st on the Xbox 360

Storyline to the game isn't very good, the theory is ok but the makers could of made a bit more of it !!! out take scenes are ok but I wanted to skip them.

The game is far too short, I could of ot through it in 1 big stink !!!

Controls are nice, zooming in shooting nice and smooth and the choice of weapson is good.

The standard gun with the chainsaw will be the only one really used as it is accurate good at any range and the chainsaw makes easy work of the baddies. The shotgun is rubbish, should feel like a booooom stick but isn't.

A bit more variety on the baddies would be nice, its mainly drones with a few bosses.

The bets bit of the game that sets it aside from others is the cover aspect hiding and dodging etc.

overall a good game but could be better....bring on gears 2

Great Co-op Game
Gears of War is the most fun Co-op game i have played on the 360. The single player was interesting and it keeps form getting repetative by introducing the player with different enemys and lots of them. The game includes some awsome features like co-op, xbox live and of course chainsaws. I wasn't the biggest fan on the online because i thought the teams were a bit small and some people kept repeating the same thing over and over again. All in all a great game and a favorite among my friends.

I'm here to spend spend spend $$!!! as long as the price is right, just as good old brucie said!!!

GEARS OF WAR IS A MUST BUY FPS GAME!!!
Wow when i first bought this game i had little expectations from this against Halo 3 and other FPS games currently out there but i surely didn't regret buying this!!!

Graphics in this game are amazing and all the blood and gore makes this game a step ahead of all other FPS'S out currently.

There are a variety of weapons to use (CHAINSAW BAYONET!!!!!) It's so much fun chainsawing an enemy to see them get chopped into pieces, makes you feel powerful ^^

The campaign is.... short but sweet and with some challenging achievements to get, this game with surely leave you feeling satisfied afterwards.

Overall an excellent FPS and is a MUST BUY!!!
