cool
Good product.Works well without glitches of any description.I replaced Norton anti-virus software with the Kaspersky as the Norton was causing serious issues with my PC.

The Kaspersky runs like a dream. Give it a try. Soon.

Great product at a great price
Kaspersky anti-virus has always had fairly good reviews from the UK computer press for as long as I can remember. In my experience its virus detection rate is far better than Norton. This latest version doesn't disappoint, as it's quick and doesn't eat up resources like some competing anti virus software can.

As of writing, the full "internet security" suite is actually cheaper than this anti-virus only package, which is strange. However, not everyone will want the full internet-security suite, preferring to install a different firewall. Using separate standalone anti-virus will give you more flexibility mix and match.

I think the package price which includes 3 licences is extremely good value.

Most certainly, the best anti-virus product available
There was a slight hitch in installing the software, getting the code correct but after that, installation was very easy. The software is very user friendly.

Some anti-virus products that I have used (Symantic is a good example)slowed my computers down alarmingly. The Kaspersky anti-virus software had hardly any impact on either my desktop running Windows XP Pro or laptop running Vista Home Premium.

The hourly updates give a great piece of mind. Well worth the money especially when you consider you get a licence for three machines.

AVG users beware
I'd hoped that this product would simply replace AVG which I've been using for a few years now however it appears that there are some clashes with these two products which I found out while trying to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, 3-Desktop, 1 year Subscription (PC) (see lengthy review). Similarly with this product installation has rendered my system unstable and I have had to recover in safe mode and uninstall. More technically minded people have advised that uninstalling AVG doesn't completely remove it from the system. One could argue from two points on this, either AVG is at fault for not removing itself properly, or Kaspersky is at fault for clashing with a widely used antivirus. I'm sure I can be shot down for either of these but I'm just Joe Public who thinks you should be able to install something and it work correctly.

Kaspersky Antivirus
Kaspersky antivirus is a small programme that takes up a tiny bit of space (needs 50MB).

The only problem I found with it is that it doesn't include a firewall. Apart from that you can set it to scan at a time that is convenient to you (I usually run it at 2am), or you can run a full or quick scan any time you want.

It also lets you back your computer up, which is very useful.

It updates itself in the background and doesn't usually require a re-start unlike other programmes I have used.

So if you want a bog standard anti virus with no whistles or bells then this will be for you.
