The best
I've collected all of the mos annuals and this, by far, is the best. I must have listened to this album hundreds of times and still love it.

It just gets worse and worse and worse and worse....
What an earth are MOS playing at? I hope they are enjoying taking the money from the punters and cranking out rubbish like this! If the Decent DJ's were still around this wouldnt happen, there would be decent remixes (not cheesy chart MOS favourites) and also the actual CD's themselves would be nicely mixed too.... DO yourselves a Favour MOS, get a decent DJ (ill do it for free) and let them work their magic..... Im never buying another MOS release again until something major changes.

The Annuals seem to get worse every year and this album is no exception. Why cant the Ministry of Sound Produce Annuals like 95-00 again mixed by propper DJ's like Pete Tong,Jules,Tall Paul and even Boy George.

Annual 08
Thank the Lord! The guys at MoS have finally sat up and taken notice! Previous Annual releases have been wall-to-wall pop songs that sound good in a club! Okay slight exaggeration but they have been immensly commercial. However for 2008 things seem to have taken a turn for the better! (If 75% of the songs have been heard in clubs sinse last year)

CD1 opens with one of the biggest songs of 2007 samin and 'heater'. Brilliant funky and edgy song and really shows what we have to wait for on CD1 and shows us the funkier direction this annual is going to take. This is quickly followed by another blockbuster track 'let me think about it'! Fedde Le Grand has been tearing up dancefloors for a couple of years now and this is another insanely addictive track! Also on the CD is nice to see some of the biggest names in house and electro breaking more into the mainstream. Vandalism, Dirty South, Spektrum and the brilliantly talented Sweedish House Maffia (Axwell, Ingrosso and Angello) all contribute superb tracks and remix's that have been destroying electro dancefloors for months and are now getting more commercial club and radio playtime! Two other masterful songs i would like to point out to you include Federico Franchi's 'cream', one of the BIGGEST songs in clubland over the summer and Claude Von Strokes 'whistler', brilliant!

CD2 goes even darker edgier and houseful. Pete Tong and one of the best up and coming house producers Dave Spoon get messy on Robyn's Heartbeat to open up the CD and it never looks back! AVH 'I Want Your Soul', Yves Larrock 'Rise up [Harry "choo choo" Romero]' and the Drill remix of Dada 'Lollipop' are the stand out tracks of CD2.

All round both CD's are tremendously listenable to. Many tracks will get you up and dancing and will appeal to a very wide range of people bar specific genre core enthusiasts. Two minor complaints however, as i said before, many of the tracks have been spinning on decks for nearly a year now so isnt really a guide to 2008 and is a bit out of date. Secondly three brilliant new songs are doing the rounds that i believed should be here:
Utah Saints - Something Good
Bart B More - So It Goes
Sandy Rivera - Freak [Bart B More Mix]

Aside from theys couple of minor flaws, it looks like MoS are getting their act together and bringing us some quality music again!!
