Works well for me
Delivery service was excellent even in the rush before Christmas. So far there have been no problems between Panasonic DMR-EX78EB-K Freeview+ 250GB HDD DVD Recorder and Panasonic TX-32LZD85 - 32" Widescreen Viera 1080P Full HD LCD TV.

I can record one programme whilst watching another which was a concern from other reviews I have read.

First flat screen I have ever had and delighted with the picture.

May take a while to work out how everything works but guess that is the same for most blokes who don't read the instructions.

Excellent picture quality, easy to use
I recently upgraded to this set as I wanted a 'Full HD' set, and am really pleased with my choice.
The picture is really clear and bright and just looks stunning.
When a HD source (Blu-ray) is played through it the picture is beautiful with the Blu-ray quality really showing through.

Also my Wii when connected via the component input looks even better than on my old LCD set, with lovely sharp text and clear images.
My BT Vision also looks much better when played through this via the HDMI.

My family have also found this set easy to use, and the ability to label the AV inputs with sensible names means we no longer have to remember what is connected where.

Sound is ok and the virtual surround effect works well.

I would strongly recommend this set to anyone wanting a Full HD 32" LCD.

Best Picture At This Size
I went to a department store to compare this TV in action next to some of the almost identical-looking Panasonics lower down in the range (the Panasonic TX-32LXD85 and the Panasonic TX-32LZD80) as well as some made by competing manufacturers (such as LG, Philips and Sony).
For a 32" TV, it's at the very top end of the price range but with good reason, as viewing it side-by-side to the others it was immeditely obvious that this TV is a step-up in picture quality, not just in price. Basically, you're getting Panasonics state-of-the-art image processing power and 100Hz refresh rate that gives vivid colours, natural skintones, deep blacks and blur-free movement; an unrivalled picture quality at this size.
Coupled at home with Sky+HD and a new blu-ray player Panasonic DMP-BD35EB-K (so simple to connect and set-up with HDMI and the latter controlled using the hassle-free Viera link interface) it made for a great movie-watching experience during the Christmas break. The sound from the built-in speakers is completely acceptable , although I'm looking forward to adding a home cinema sound system later.
I'm not a fan of massive TV panels dominating a room, but having lived with this TV for a month now, I have to say my only regret is that due to space limitations I couldn't have the 37" version Panasonic TX-37LZD85.

Excellent TV
We've had ours now since September 2008. No problems at all, it even fits in the cupboard we used to use for our 28" Sony CRT TV. It's also a lot easier to handle! "Standard" picture quality is excellent, Freeview picture quality is noticeably better than provided by our 3 year old Topfield PVR. I don't like the programme guide, but I've been spoilt by the excellent one on the Topfield. We've not used the HDMI capabilities yet and I've not got around to wall-mounting as I intend.

Sound and Vision
Bought this to replace a 24in CRT. Have just played a DVD of Pavarotti and Sutherland at the Met. So realistic that I can imagine myself back at Covent Garden. The colour range is great blacks are really black and sound is amazing for such small speakers. So pleased I bought this great TV. Buy one -you will be astonished at the quality.
