Excellent present for a 9 year old
This is an excellent present for a 9 year old. My daughter loves it, she has got songs and photos stored via the iTune software, which is not very intuitive but ok to operate on a PC e.g. there is no specific option to do a raw data copy or automatically convert existing MPEG files.

My first ipod!
This is the first ipod I have ever owned. I did once have a cheap MP3 player, when it was still new technology and didn't get on with it so stayed away from mp3 players after that (not an apple product I have to say). The Apple ipod has lived up to my expectations and gone far beyond. Well done Apple. My husband is rather jealous and I think will be after one himself in the not too distant future. Only trouble is getting my 5 year old to let me listen to it and persuading him it is not his!

GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE WIFE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!!!
I bought the wife a black 8gb ipod to go with our docking station I was that impressed with what this can do and offer I treated myself to a blue one. I have always had cheap MP3 1gb players and I thought it was good until I used one of these. My only moan is dosen't come with instructions but this time around I knew what I was doing.

i recieved this product on time from amazon. and might i say APPLE have over done themselves with this new 4th generation ipod nano. brilliant quality videos. im downloading loads of family guy...lol

fantastic ipod does the job and more. a must have for christmas. people of all ages will love this I assure you all. FANTASTIC!

Nifty Nano
This is a fab little dude - so much in such a small package. However, it does crash quite a lot and the software is still a bit glitchy. However, the more than fantastic Apple design and general superiority still shines through and there will be software updates that will undoubtedly improve it over time.
