Caution Advised
Altogether I have purchased 5 of these all from Digizouk. The first 3 were great and worked perfectly well. However, the second 2 I brought recently DO NOT WORK. They get stuck at the black loading screen. I have taken the memory cards out and used them in the 3 I know work and everything's ok but put them back in the new ones and nothing.
Contacted Digizo through there website and received no response tried to call but got no answer (this bit could have just been bad timing) but all in all poor customer service.

Worth Buying
Just wanted to quickly apologise for the length of this review but i felt it was neccesary for potential buyers to know.

Okay so i bought mine from Tecknet and i will say that it is in fact a clone/replica. Most of these are branded as fakes as they are not by the original R4 team but aslong as you dont install the original R4 hardware and use the hardware from either the advised website or disc then it will run very well without many problems

There is however a minor hardware fault in which the cartridge can easily become loose and therefore your DS/DSL wont recognise the cart. Not a huge problem

The overall device itself is amazing and although i cant support its illegal possibilities it works very efficiantly, running DS games full speed aswell as (with a few emulator additions) the possibilty of playing NES, SNES, GameGear, MegaDrive, MasterSystem, Genesis, Gameboy and GameboyColour. Its a shame you cant play GBA games but that requires a Slot-2 device and is impossible through Slot-1

I have not personally tried its multimedia capabilities (I'm waiting for another SD card because i used so much space with the games) but i've heard that they are very good

Don't be surprised if your R4 comes in slightly different packaging either. The given picture is very inaccurate. The disc is blue and the cartridge label itself isnt a black to grey colour but just black

I would give this product 5 Stars but i was a bit weary with the idea of it being a clone with the possible long term effects on my DS. Ive heard about blown fuses and bricked DS's. I do reccomend buying this product though because of its potential and so far it has been almost perfect for me.

Excellent little accessory
Great little item with the ability to play multiple ds games from the one card and use as a portable media player. After a little confusion with the firmware to use because only to newest firmware is able to support sdhc cards it worked great and am very pleased with it.

Works 100% and really easy to get going quickly!
I bought the R4 from Tecknet on amazon.
It took me less than five minutes to get up and running.
It DID come with a CD and I followed the instructions that were on it.

I'm really enjoying this and best of all it works with V1.18!
