Hmmm - mixed reviews
Got this camera for my daughter, and it went through two sets of batteries in two days. I wondered if she was leaving it on ... but then it stopped being able to autofocus, and then it stopped retracting the lens when the power was turned off. So, either there was something wrong with that specific camera, or there's something not right with this model in general - and I say that because I've read the reviews for the same model in the other colours (blue, silver), and the ratings are either 4/5 or they're 1/2. Bottom line, there seems to be some chance that if you buy this, you'll get a bad one.
Me, I returned it and went for a Kodak 8MP with rehcargeable battery from Argos instead - and my daughter's a very happy bunny. -

SAMSUNG S760
Bought this camera to use in school with 6 year olds. It is so easy to use and the photos are excellent. There is even a setting which rectifies shaky hands so now the children can photograph their own work with great results. All in all a great buy.

Easy to use
My sons bought me this camera, at first I was rather dubious, though if an old F**T such as me can operate and get pleasure from this camera anyone can. It is brilliant.

Quite a good sub £60 camera
Bought this camera about 3 weeks ago for the wife as a handbag camera. Was not expecting much for such a low price but have to admit I have been pleasantly surprised by its image quality. Nice daylight shots and dim light shots came out better then I`ve seen on some other budget compacts. Obviously not up there with the likes of Canon, Panasonic or Sony but then at almost £100 cheaper than their lowest models, its never going to be. If you are looking for a cheap compact with reasonable picture quality and some fairly useful settings then for the price this is a winner and I would recommend it. -

nifty litle camera
Wow! what a great little camera and so cheap for what it does! This has to be the best value for money for a compact digital. I have reduced the pixel count to 5mp and in good light this produces pictures that are bright, nicely saturated and full of detail. It is a bit plasticy, hence 4 stars, and does not do all of the things that more expensive compacts are capable of doing. However, when you think about what you want a compact for, it doesn't make much sense to buy something that costs as much as a DSLR. Just point and shoot - this does the job surprisingly well and looks stylish too. It is light, small enough for a shirt pocket and pretty responsive in terms of finding focus. Low light capability? not great, but no worse than most digital compacts on the market. I use cameras a lot and am quite satisfied with this one as a very good budget camera that delivers good quality pictures.
