Samsung are Great!!!!
I have just received my stylish Samsung WHITE TV and i have set it up in about 30 seconds. The TV finds all the freeview chanels really quickly.
It looks AWESOME and i love the touch buttons at the side!
The picture is great and the sound is really good too. I have only had it about an hour but i am just so impressed! I bought it from amazon when it was cheaper but i would pay anything for it!

is this any better than the competition?
I bought this tv for the kitchen, In my living room I have 37" version of this tv.Although its a samsung a so called top rated tv manufacturer I am not that impressed with the picture quality,my main tv is superb, but the 19" version is a bit ropey! I was banished to the kitchen to watch the football,in my opinion it is pretty dreadful watching live sport, if your into watching soaps etc the tv was ok but the colours wasn't good and there are too many shadows.the tv looks great but I am not yet convinced,i paid 40 quid extra for the samsung when the polaroid is probably just as good for your kitchen/bedrom etc. In my opinion I would but a big samsung but not a smaller one! -

What more could you expect
I bought this TV as soon as it was available with freeview. I was initially a bit sceptical given the bad reviews of the previous model, particularly with regards to the sound. I waited a while to review it after other reviewers said that it stopped picking up some freeview channels over time.
I have had no problems with it, excellent picture and easy to set up. I listen to the freeview radio channels on it no problem. Given that it is a small TV the sound is not going to be disturbing the neighbourhood, but fine to potter round upstairs and listen to the radio.
Given the price of the TV, and the fact it looks fantastic I would not expect any more.

Disappointing Sound!
Great looking TV. Very easy to set up and use. Picture quality is fine (though not as good as Panasonic Plasma). The slow channel change is annoying but the big disappointment is the sound.
I think the Samsung design that bounces the sound from a lip under the screen is to blame. No matter how you set up the balance and equalisation (lots of adjustment opportunities) the sound is always weak and nasal. I was hoping to set up external speakers but the only method I could find to do this was with the headphone output and the signal had a high pitch whistle so no joy here.
Despite all the plus points, I would buy elsewhere if you like a nice natural sound quality. -

Very good, but a little slow
I have to admit it does look very cool indeed in my bedroom next to my xbox, I cant fault it on picture playing on my xbox or just watching normal tv. I think the only thing that lets it down is the sound, which is understandable ish. Ive hooked it upto external speakers so doesnt really affect me much. I looked at alot of Tvs 19inch around the £300 mark and found this best suited me, the touch screeny things on the actual tv for changing channel and volume look very good. I have found though that it is very slow in responsing when changing channel, which can be a little annoying if yout want to flick through channels quickly but the tv guide feature is very good. Overall a very good tv but sound may let it down.
