Local market stall?
This is very over valued and will do little to protect your Zen. I'm returning it and going for the plastic case.

Not worth the money
Creative ZEN Leather Case
I bought this but within days the leather was showing wear and the red trim had cracked. The whole case looks cheap and shabby. Spend a little extra buy the tuf luv case it looks and lasts better

Essential accessory for your Creative Zen
The Creative Zen display is so good that you'll want something to protect it. I didn't want to look through a piece of plastic so that more or less narrowed it down to this, the Creative leather case. It's a very nice case except for one drawback; like the Zen itself, it has no attachment point for a lanyard.

The belt clip is almost useless. You can't easily operate the Zen in that position - even upside down - but it's ideally placed for bashing into hard objects! I would remove the thing if it didn't make a servicable prop stand. There's a small label on the side of the case that looks strong enough to take a D ring - if I can get one in.

Verdict? Get one; you won't be disappointed. (I've knocked a star off because, as with almost everything these days, you'll have to modify it to get the best.)

A bit pricey but good protection for your Zen
This leather case for the Zen works well for me. Although I'd agree with other reviewers that it doesn't have a screen protector when the case is open, it will be closed (and fairly securely fastened by the clever magnetic closure) when it's in your bag or pocket, so this isn't really an issue for me. The player sits comfortably inside the case. It isn't 'skin tight' but having done a few (careful) experiments, I don't think my Zen is likely to fall out either. Unlike an earlier reviewer, my case smelt 'leathery' rather than plasticky when it came out of the box. It doesn't show up too well on the picture but there is a trim of red piping around the edges of the case. If you want the all black look, you'll need to look elsewhere but I quite like the red.
All the buttons are easily accessible, as are the various ports although I do question whether the fabric label bearing the logo "Creative" is actually best placed so that it partially covers the headphone socket.
I like the way that the belt clip doubles up as a stand so you can watch videos with your digital friend sitting on your desk.
Yes, of course this is fairly expensive for a small leather pouch. But, on the other hand, it protects something that cost me lot more money very well, enhances my use (by providing that stand) and looks quite nice. You could no doubt buy a cheaper case, but it wouldn't be specifically designed for your Zen and may not protect it quite as well.

Creative cases really have gone downhill
After forking out £13 + postage for this case, I have to say I'm very disappointed by the quality of the case.
It honestly feels like an item you'd see more at home being sold for a couple of quid at a market than an official item released by Creative.
The Zen fits relatively well into the case, but feels like an item made to accommodate a number of different models of mp3 player, not just the Zen.
You have to do better creative!
