Good but fragile.
The sound is good and the microphone is easily adjustable and works well. It's huge problem is that it's very fragile. My one broke after a few months without any accidents.

Disappointing.
My boyfriend and I bought one set of these each to use with Skype. The reviews sounded so good for Skype users and it was a good price so we thought they would be fine. But we've found that we have to hold the microphone against our mouths to make ourselves heard (which takes away the whole point of having a headset) and we can't use the headphones for the audio because then the microphone isn't close enough to our mouths! Channelling the audio thought the speakers on the computer is okay but again takes away the point of having a headset.

And even when we did hold the microphone against our mouths it would cut out randomly anyway, making having a conversation difficult. They're annoying and faultly and we will be returning them.

Ideal quick gift for someone needing a new headset
I bought this headset for someone else so when we chat, I'm able to hear the sound quality it produces - for under a tenner it's much better than I was expecting but of course if you spend more you get even better quality (such as one of the officially billed Skype headsets, the larger of them made by Plantronics).

The one complaint from the recipient was, the earpads weren't the most comfortable in the world and if you have small children you have to make sure they don't get hold of this headset and rip the pads off making them too painful to wear.

Spending more gets you a model that can take more physical punishment, but that's the same with all technical equipment. If you're just kitting someone out with a better mic than they may have received with a new PC, these are ideal and I'd buy them as a gift again.

Don't believe the Amazon search
I'm sure this is a fine headset, but... if you searched for "PS3 headset" and you were presented with this headset, DON'T BUY IT! There's nothing here saying what connector it has so I relied on the fact that it matched "PS3 headset". Bad idea. It's got 3.5mm jacks. No good for your console. PC Arena still haven't compensated me either.

Cheap and Practical
I purchased these a couple of weeks ago and am happy with them they do the job well although they are slightly too big even on the smallest adjustment...but all in all for the price excellent value for money will be buying again for my boys...
