Memories of the London stage Show
Having seen twice and loved the Lord of the Rings stage show in London buying the soundtrack was the next step.
And I am not disappointed.
This is a superb souvenir and an essential addition to the Lord of the Rings collection for all fans.
The set consists of 2 discs. The first is a cd of the music from the show. The second disc is a DVD with the musical soundtrack and images from the production and rehearsals.
The sturdy card case is in a book form with the story synopsis, lyrics and credits and photo of the show itself.
A must have item. -

Amazing Show with Incredible Music
My husband & I saw this show out of curiosity. Neither of us are huge Tolkien fans but found the combination of the video clips on the site & the thought of seeing an actor we both admire (Jerome Pradon) very appealing. We both loved it! The staging is nothing short of magical, the choreography inventive & exciting, the acrobatic skills worthy of Cirque du Soliel, not to mention acting of the highest caliber & music that moves you heart & soul. It's a feast for the eyes & marriage of beauty & darkness that is well captured in this addictive CD. A great show, soon to close, but this CD will evoke the emotions of this wonderful tale told in a magical way. If you can, see the show, but whatever you decide, buy the CD you will not be disappointed. -

Blown away for the second time
When I saw the show in London last October, it (literally) blew me away. But I wasn't to sure about the music. What I saw, or should I say experienced, was so overwhelming that I couldn't really tell whether or not I liked the music. But after listening to the CD I could. I was blown away for the second time. And this time by the music. It is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately the show will close in July, but fortunately they put the music on a CD. Go buy it and if you have the chance, go see it! -

Mind-blowing theatre
I have seen this show several times, and I absolutly love the whole production - dispite my initial sceptasism about whether it would work, I can catagorically say that it does work amazingly well.
The music is beautiful and this soundtrack has all the best pieces on it, so its well worth buying.. if you've seen the show, you'll be thrust back into it when listening to this fabulous CD! :D
LOTR is, I feel the best quality musical production ever made but unfortunaly it hasn't had the recognition it deserves and sadly there probably won't be anything like it ever again. Go and see it while you still can, and if not, BUY THIS CD!! -

Fantastic
I'm a sucker for this music. It's so sweeping and enthralling - A.R. Rahman really left his mark on it. Every song is interesting and beautiful. The horns deserve a special nod as do Varttina for their incredible vocals. I could listen to this recording for ages and never get bored.
