Truly Awful**!!!!!!!!
Family guy started off as very good, but since season 4 it has gone very much down hill & this season now with more swearing, not really necessary, containing this is a new low, to me does not count as humour, there are some amusing moments, hence my 2 star rating, the Gene Kelly scene which was done very well cleverly, replacing Jerry the mouse with Stewie, but overall this cartoon, like The Simpsons, is running out of really funny, sarcastic, jokes, for what I would call toilet humour, which we are getting far too much of nowadays, & when you reach this you are finished. I will buy season 7, to see if it has improved, but only at a good price & I will not rush into buying it, but overall stick to seasons 1,2 & 3 for the best of this series anyone else agree with me.

rude' crude' and great
I love family Guy but i did not want them to make a season 6 i thought that 5 was enough. But anyway i just wanted to see this season so i went to HMV to buy this and when i did i was happy with what i had done a great season. So if your a fan of family guy like me buy this season you may hate it' you may love it' but ether way its still a funny season. -

Family Guy Season 6
This is actually a warning as well as a review for anyone who owns the 'FAMILY GUY FREAKIN' PARTY PACK'. The american boxset goes as follows:
season 1
season 2
season 3
volume 3
volume 4
volume 5
Volume 5 and season 6 are the same, they are both the first half of season 5. Volume 6 which isn't out yet is the second half of season 5. volumes 7 and probably 8 are season 6. So if you already own the 'FAMILY GUY FREAKIN' PARTY PACK' don't buy season 6 boxset or you will have two sets of season five part one Just look at the picture of the season 6 boxset and look at the discs in the volume five in the 'FAMILY GUY FREAKIN' PARTY PACK'. This can be very deceiving.

More consistently funny than series 4 and 5
I'm a big fan of the show, but series 4 and 5 were really quite disappointing. Series 6 is much more consistent - each episode contains several genuinely funny gags, plenty of crude humour and even a little quality satire. Still not as well observed as the first three series but a decent return to form. -

How the Series Work On the DVDs
In the UK it works like this;
Season One DVD - contains the whole of Series One
Season Two DVD - contains the whole of Series Two
Season Three DVD - contains the whole of Series Three
Season Four DVD - contains the first 13 episodes of Series Four
Season Five DVD - contains the rest of Series Four (about 14/15 episodes)
Season Six DVD - contains the first 13/14 episodes of Series Five
Personally i think that this format is ridiculous because by the time they get to the Season 10 DVD it will actually only be the first half of Series 7!!!
