Not a PS3 without one!
This controller is great the only differences from the sixaxis are the obvious weight difference which isnt to much of a problem feels like you have something to hold on to, if you get what i am saying. The rummble fuction is perfect too small a vibration and not over doing it. The big difference i have found with this controller is the battery life which after a week and several hours playing i havent lost a bar of battery life, unlike the sixaixs which i found i was charging up every time i wanted to play. 5/5 -

Worth the wait
At last.... all the things that were wrong with the last controller have been fixed! Feels more stable and well made, without being so clumpy and heavy as the X360 controller. I have to admit I had forgotton how much of an extra dimension the rumble gives you in gameplay..... in Topspin 3 for example, I now know when I hit a good shot, and I certainly know when the force is with me now.... cant wait to try it out on a few more games! Better late than never Sony! -

Duelshock 3
i thought i would give an update for this duelshock 3
the first thing you will notice is that it's a bit more
heavey then the other contorller and for that reason does
make the pad a lot better sony could have done something
about the l2/r2 coz yuor fingers can slip off them way to
easy and i know you can buy triggers that will fit on to those
buttons (i got mines free opm) the other fact is that the games
list is a bit short most ps3 titles will not use the rumble and if
it does you will have to get an update patch if yuor ps3 is on line
that will be auto once you load the game this is still well worth
the money and once you get used to the pad you wont want to go back to
the OLD duelshock -

A control for the future!
If your moving from the PS2 to the PS3 youll notice one big change to the controller, the lack of a cable connecting it to the playstation which is fantastic it cant get tangled or disjodged from the control.
Apart from that the controls only been changed in a minor way, the R2 and L2 sholder triggers are now not encased in plastic sheild which makes them alot easier to use, the control feels alot more responsive especially with the Sixaxis function. The case is more durable and the buttons themselves are alot easier to depress.
The battery life of the control is also fantastic i think i charge mine up at about once a month and im a hardocre user! It cant get much better to be honest ive not had a problem with the control or the charging system. -

Good.
I do not own one of these and do not plan to order this either I have found a cheaper white one from a website (Better not post or amazon might not be happy) which i am going to get when i get a ps3 (This month) I am still going to say that it is worthwhile as the sixaxis is not inredibly much cheaper and is pretty inferior. Really should go for this DS3 or import a white one.
