Arthritis? No problem!
I bought this for my partner who suffers with RA. It makes opening all sizes of jars and bottles an absolute breeze. Supplied with 2 energizer batteries too.
If you have any sort of joint pain or weakness in your wrists I could not recommend this more highly. -

Faulty one
I bought one for my 80 year old mother in law for Christmas as she cannot open new jars. It seemed to work OK when I demonstrated it, but the thing would not switch itself off. Also the battery compartment was very difficult to get on and off, she wouldn't be able to do that by herself. The idea is a brilliant one, but I'm not sure about the quality control. -

Big
I have big strong hands so didn't really need this. If you have small weak hands it would be useful. -

Power!
This product was bought for my mum, who is beginning to have problems opening jars due to weakness in the thumbs. We've used it a few times and it has performed as expected. It is clearly very powerful and makes opening a jar fun!
The only negative thing we had trouble with was the battery cover. It is very tricky to close after the batteries have been installed. However I still give the product 5 stars because once this initally tricky part is done then it doesn't need to be worried about for ages.
For anyone who doesn't have a strong man around 24 hours a day to open jars, this is the product for you! -

Most Excellent
I have bought this for my mum (who suffers from Parkinsons) for Xmas and as soon as she unwrapped it she wanted to try it on a jar she had been unable to open. Pop it on top of the jar, press the button and away it goes. Absolutely fantastic, especially for people living on their own who normally struggle to open jars.
