Much better
This is my 3rd Wave after loosing the previous 2 at work.

I rate it highly as Im glad there are several key improvements to the design;

The pouch is a lot stronger which means I dont expect the wave to fall out so easily like previously! It now has a seperate compartment for the mini tool belt, which is good as before you had to carry it round seperately, which defeateded the object for me.

There are now buttons on the outside which when pressed unlock the fold out impliments.

There is the capacity to add a lanyard karrabinar for quick releasing the leatherman, which Im not sure was an option for before.

All in all, the leatherman is very handy and well built. There seems to be many variants but personally they're all quite similar, the charge is too expensive & not much different & the smaller version is pointless. I think the Wave is the best bet and can be had for avery good price. I love carrying it around& would reccomend it.

A tip is to go to any keymakers&get yours engraved with your name etc to deter theft.

Everybody would find a use for this
This is one of the most useful objects anyone can own.

It is built like a tank and I use it all the time.

It feels small but dense, and each tool is incredibly well designed and reliable.

I would say, though, that the nylon pouch is much better, as it's less bulky than the leather version.

No-one would regret buying a Wave, but you would regret losing one.

Highest Quality
I know a lot of people that don't know the Leatherman name think £70 is a lot for a multi-tool but you really do get what you pay for. This is a tool that WILL last you for years, always handy for all the little tasks you need to get done and if you are an outdoors person it's fantastic for all your little camping trips.

the best multi tool
i have owned this tool for the last four years and i have had no problems with the build quality or any aspect of this tool and it is a superb piece of kit, it is by far the best of its kind and i would recommend it to anyone who has a need for a handy medium sized tool.

i have owned other multi tools and this and all the other leatherman tools are built to a much higher standard and represent great value for money.
